Location
Connected to Verbier 4Vallées, Mont-Fort Swiss Lodge benefits from direct access to the largest ski area in Switzerland. The lodge is located at the heart of the gondola lift station and a few metres from the Le Châble station.
In Bruson, you can explore the wonderful freeride tracks in winter and beautiful hikes in summer. You can also take the other gondola lift which connects Verbier with the rest of the 4 Vallées.
The entrance to Mont-Fort Swiss Lodge can be found in the Le Châble gondola lift building opposite the cash registers. Follow the “Bruson” signpost and go up the stairs. You’ll find the entrance to Mont-Fort Swiss Lodge on the first floor.
train
Switzerland has a vast rail network, one of the most extensive in Europe. Wherever you’re starting from, take a train towards Martigny before switching to a train to Le Châble. When you arrive at the Le Châble station, leave the station by the stairs, ramp or lift.
On weekends from December to April, visitors from Geneva can take the Verbier Express or the VosAlpes Express from Fribourg.
car
You're only around twenty minutes from Le Châble from Martigny. There is free long-term parking available (P4) to the left when you enter the Curala car park. Parking in the rest of the car park is prohibited between midnight and 6am.
plane
If you’re coming from far afield, travelling by plane is undoubtedly the most practical way to reach Le Châble. You will have the choice of two airports: if flying to Geneva, you can take the train and arrive at the hotel in two hours; if flying to Zurich, it will take you a little under three hours to reach your destination.
